A peptide is a short chain of 2 to 50 amino acids strung together. They can be used as signaling agents for your cells and since your body naturally makes over 7000 peptides, its a language your body already understands.
-
Some of them bind to receptors on your cells which tells the cell to do a specific job. ie) release more endogenous growth hormone, improve nerve regeneration or reduce inflammation
-
They are generally regarded as safe for two reasons, They have a very short half life so they don’t stick around for very long. And they function as modulators not inhibitors.
-
It is the process used to turn a lyophilized peptide into something usable for research. It requires adding Bacteriostatic Water to your peptide. Remember to always refrigerate your peptides after reconstitution. And its always wise to finish your research within 28 days of reconstitution.
-
As long as you keep it away from light, heat and don’t allow the peptide to warm up and cool down multiple times, the general consensus is up to a year unrefrigerated, 2-3 years in the fridge and 5+ years in the freezer.

When conducting research with a peptide, sometimes there can be a stinging sensation or a small histamine response. If the pH of the peptide or Bac water is too far off from our natural pH sometimes we can get this response.
